Over the course of 4 days we competed in Iron Player, ran our own custom games and I took 3rd in Iron GM. The true tournament of Game Masters. In this installment we are going to go over taking something from black and white into the realm of color along with keeping the feel of the character.

"BLACK AND WHITE TO COLOR"

When we talked about taking the Commander from a tight to color we wanted to bring this intellect to life and accentuating his humanoid like poise.

The artist carried over to color on this piece he made sure to keep all his line work intact instead of cleaning it up. While doing this he still kept the deep shading which will help define the shapes during the turn arounds and 3D modeling.

In the clayglin creature document we talked about them being born from the Red Clay Fields. Now we wanted to carry this into their colors, while still holding true to being the souls of green skinned goblins.

Also through out myths, folklore and poems the writers speak of being able to see the soul of a creature through the the eyes. We wanted to carry the beady eye look over while having a sickening glow to their eyes.
